Adriana Snape Bermejo

Born in Brussels, Belgium, in 2003. Since 2023, she studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación BBVA Viola Chair with professor Diemut Poppen. She has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.

She began her viola studies at the age of 8 at the Padre Antonio Soler Music School, under the guidance of Celia Bornemann, among other professors. After graduating in 2021, she was admitted at Musikene, Higher School of Music of the Basque Country, where she studied with professor Natasha Tchitch, Additionally she has taken part in seminars at the Brussels Royal Conservatory, Valencia Musikae Forum and the Ayllón International Music Festival in Castilla y León, and she has attended masterclasses by Thomas Riebl, Ashan Pillai, Ettore Causa, Jonathan Brown, Julia Dinerstein, and Mikhail Zemtsov.

In the field of chamber music, she has performed in a baroque orchestra for several years and has been member of several ensembles both in Musikene and in the conservatory.

She is member of the JONDE, with which she has toured around Spain twice in 2022, and the Youth Orchestra of the Madrid Region.

She has performed at the National Auditorium in Madrid, Musikverein in Vienna, Kursaal in San Sebastián, Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao, Teatro Principal in Vitoria, Auditorio Palacio de Congresos Príncipe Felipe in Oviedo, Casa da Música in Oporto, and at the auditoriums of Bordeaux, Zaragoza, Adán Martín in Tenerife, Galicia, León, Miguel Delibes in Valladolid, Lisbon, Manuel de Falla in Granada, Jaén, Almería and at the Lienzo Norte in Ávila.

As a student of the School, she has performed with the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Péter Csaba, and she is currently part of the Pérez-Llorca Haydn Quartet.
